Mega-Destroid Invasion Starts Thursday

You’ve held off the first wave of the Destroid invasion, but are you prepared for the wrath of the Mega-Destroids? These upgraded robots are three stories tall, level 60 – and there are six of them. And if you can’t stop them tomorrow, they’re going to rampage right through the Champions HQ!
The Mega-Destroids have been detected on long-range scanners, and they’ll arrive after maintenance Thursday morning (Sep. 26). UNTIL has gathered some intel that should help – but we’re short on details, so stay alert.
Once the Mega-Destroids arrive, they’ll be spawning near the Champions HQ building every hour. They’ll spawn in at three points around the building, so you’ll be able to isolate them. You’ll need to gather all the allies you can to have a chance at winning, and the extra firepower from a Hawkwing jet or two would help.
You’ll have help from the Champions themselves, and with your help, they’ll hammer away at the Mega-Destroids. When you defeat a Mega-Destroid, one of the pieces of loot they might drop is a Champions summon – you’ll be able to call one of the Champions to aid you in battle. This comes in both temporary and ultra-rare permanent versions.
The Mega-Destroids are closing in on Millennium City, and the assault begins Thursday morning. Your help is needed this week in Champions Online, the superhero MMO with complete customization and the most dangerous robots!

I have done 2 of these md battles and in da 1:st i got a unlimited black talon armor ( WOOOOOOOO ) and i'm lv 40 so i have ALL attacks from it! Both battles w all players (like 100 heroes). These fights were both PIECES 'O CAKE! And i'm swedish.

@yinepuhotepgames: Wow, mate. Doomsayer syndrome much? @cyraxis: I agree about 4/5ths of the way through. I'd like to see more active invasions, similar to the Bloodmoon events placed in various fitting spawn locations across MC, near the burning building in Westside or the wrecked block to the west of the TV station for example. For a guy who has the resources and brains of Dr.D sending six MDs to attack the champs HQ alone seems a bit shortsighted. Doesn't mean I'm not going to have fun taking advantage of his onset dementia though ;P

I don't think they will be forgotten, but I am also sure this release will break several things in the game which will take weeks if not months to isolate and fix. Otherwise, sounds fun. But I have always said, there should be multiple invasions or attacks on the city by different foes at VERY RANDOM times. Kinda unexpected attacks. That would be fun and more realistic.

Could we....you know....have an actual invasion instead of small groups of destroids that nobody cared to pay any attention to at all? How about an ACTUAL invasion. change the sky a bit, more robots, I am sure that these Mega D's are going to be forgotten in 2 hours after release
