The Blood Moon special event returns to Champions Online this Friday, as a special taste of the terror to come later this month. Face the Undying Lord Takofanes' servants and earn updated rewards from Friday through Monday morning!
 

The Blood Moon rises over Millennium City at 10 AM on Friday, Oct. 12, and this special event will run until 10 AM on Monday, Oct. 15 (Pacific). Join up with other heroes to thrash zombies in an open-world mission, then take the fight to the crypts under Millennium City to save 13 undead heroes. These heroes gave their lives defending Millennium City from Dr. Destroyer during the Battle of Detroit, and Takofanes is forcing their remains to fight in his armies. Unlock the In Memoriam perk by releasing the souls of all thirteen heroes.

Once you've saved the heroes, take the fight to the Undying Lord's head minions, the Deathlords. These villains protect their master as he menaces Millennium City, and if defeated, will drop rewards updated with On Alert gear.

This special event begins Friday, and will only last until Monday — but the menace of the Blood Moon is far from over. The special Halloween event will return closer to the end of the month, including trick-or-treating and a confrontation with Takofanes himself!
